Owen Cullen Managing Director
Managing Director Owen Cullen holds a Masters (Hons) in Strategic Management and Planning from the UCD Smurfit School of Business. He is the agency’s representative with Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), the renowned invitation-only alliance of the world’s leading independent PR firms, of which Cullen Communications is Ireland’s sole member. Owen took over as Managing Director of the agency in 2013.
Leo Cullen Chairman
Agency Chairman Leo Cullen is now Forwards Coach with Leinster Rugby, having captained the province to three Heineken Cups (2009, 2011, 2012) during a stellar rugby career in which he also won 32 caps for Ireland. He is a board member of SIFE Ireland, a director of Newspaper Licensing Ireland (NLI) and a brand ambassador for Aware, the depression support charity. Leo has also served as brand ambassador for the financial spreadbetting firm CMC Markets.
Connie Ross Finance Director
Finance Director Connie Ross is a Director of Cullen Communications and has been with the agency since its foundation in 1985. Prior to her current position she specialised in automotive PR, working with both Ford and Continental Tyres. Connie holds a Diploma in Public Relations and is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.
Frank Cullen Agency Founder
Frank Cullen is the founder and former Chief Executive of Cullen Communications, and former Coordinating Director of National Newspapers of Ireland (NNI). He has a lifelong experience in Public Relations, Public Affairs and Marketing, and is a Fellow of both the Public Relations and Marketing Institutes of Ireland. Having spent 13 years in the automotive industry, he set up his own Public Relations and Marketing Consultancy and shortly afterwards, in 1985, he helped to establish National Newspapers of Ireland (NNI), the umbrella organisation for Ireland’s daily, Sunday and weekly newspapers.
Frank is a former President of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), former Chairman of the European Newspaper Publishers Association (Taxation Committee) and a former member of the Independent Radio and Television Commission (IRTC).
