Ford Mondeo launch

The arrival of a new Ford Mondeo in November 2014 would be a defining moment for Ford; with confidence beginning to surge back into the market, a new version of one of Ireland’s most popular family/executive models was perfect timing. Cullen Communications was charged with devising and executing a launch event that would showcase all the qualities of the new car to key stakeholders including media, dealers and fleet representatives. We created a programme that included technical briefings and a test drive route, with additional activity for motoring journalists designed to build awareness of the new car. We also orchestrated the all-important reveal of the new Mondeo, commissioning the Dublin Gospel Choir to accompany the big-bang moment during our gala dinner. The event, a marathon that ran over three days, was a resounding success, generating €150,000 worth of publicity and positioning the Ford Mondeo among the leading contenders in its hugely competitive segment.
