Owen Cullen, Managing Director of Cullen Communications, was today appointed Chair of the Board of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the association that represents 30 of the leading PR agencies in Ireland.
Owen, who has been Managing Director of the family-owned Cullen Communications for the past eight years, also previously held the position of Treasurer of the PRCA. He is an experienced PR practitioner whose agency is trusted by a high-level portfolio of national and multinational clients in mobility, tech, travel, retail, cybersecurity, healthcare and other sectors.
“It’s a great honour for me to have been asked to take over as Chairperson of the PRCA and it’s a challenge I’m proud to accept on behalf of Cullen Communications,” said Owen Cullen. “We are living in exceptional times and the role of communications has arguably never been more important as society navigates back to normal.
“From a PR perspective, our industry has many challenges but we’re also seeing opportunities for agencies to pivot and grow as the business landscape evolves,” he said. “Supporting and helping agencies to seize these opportunities will be a major focus over the next two years, and I want to thank the Board and members of PRCA for putting their faith on me.”
