Opening of a new facility in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim - improving connectivity for firms in Northern Ireland as part of FedEx's European growth strategy.

FedEx, the world’s largest express transportation company, advanced their global footprint with the opening of a new facility in Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim – improving connectivity for firms in Northern Ireland as part of their European growth strategy.

We partnered with a Northern Ireland agency along with our PRGN partner Spider PR we managed the official announcement. This was an important announcement for the client as part of their growth strategy. We worked closely with the team to align with global messaging and communications as part of the announcement managing all media relations, photography concepts and event management aspects of the launch at Belfast airport.

Activity included inviting dignitaries as guests of honour and securing a FedEx plane on-site at Belfast as a prop in addition to organising a Tennessee band (home of FedEx HQ) to entertain the guests!​

Communications and media plans were developed to manage the campaigns success across the teams. This also included working with spokespersons on speeches and collation of media packs for guests.
