And we’re back!
Big year ahead, both for ourselves and for the clients we’re proud to represent. We ended last year on a high – busier than ever, just the way we like it – and 2015 looks like being no different. So what’s in store? What are we going to make happen over the coming 12 months?
Hit the ground running
Refreshed and recharged after the Christmas break, we’re actually pretty glad to get back behind the desk. Maybe that’s a PR thing – in this business, every day is different and that’s a pretty stimulating way to work. Looking for a PR agency? Our door is open.
Look after number one
Our number one priority, of course, being our clients. One of the distinctive features of Cullen Communications is our long-standing client relationships – three of our main clients have been with us for more than 20 years – and that doesn’t happen without a commitment to be not just a PR agency but a trusted partner; an extension of the client; a member of their team. In 2015, our clients know they can turn to us in any situation.
Grow some more
We were delighted to win some great new business in 2014 and we want more of that in the coming year. Ireland’s economy is growing again and, having weathered the economic storm, many companies now have a better understanding of what PR can do for their business and a desire to invest in their communications. We’re in hunter-gatherer mode right now – actively looking to add to our client portfolio.
Write well
Because if you value your words, other people are more likely to do the same. Writing is everything in PR so whether it’s a lengthy client report or a hundred-character tweet, as communications professionals we’re expected to turn out polished, crafted, carefully thought-out copy in everything we do. We’re committing to the content in 2015.
Keep working on the social smarts
Social media has changed the way we work – it’s changed the way we think – and clever clients everywhere want to get in on the conversation. Whatever the channel, good stories told in the right way will always gain traction – look no further than the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: a simple, catchy call-to-action that got shared to the moon and back. We pride ourselves on being a sociable agency, with the skills to match.
Get Steph that award
Okay, we only said five resolutions but wouldn’t it be incredible if our own Stephanie Roche pipped the galacticos to this year’s FIFA Puskás award? She certainly deserves it. The winner will be announced in Zurich on 12 January so fingers crossed.
Is there anything more exciting than the prospect of a brand new year? All that possibility stretching out ahead of us. We’re pumped and ready to go. Here’s to 2015 and everything it brings.
